Soy un desarrollador de software. Terminé en esta profesión debido a la fascinación de crear castillos en el aire; complejos mecanismos que finalmente están compuestos de patrones e ideas, no son tangibles, y existen hechos de la nada. En los videojuegos encontré que podía entremezclar esa creación de complejos engranajes junto con expresión artística y la exploración de la psicología humana. Los videojuegos son capaces de trasmitir ideas muy complejas, de crear motivaciones, recompensas, y de ser un gran merito técnico. En esta área es donde he sentido una satisfacción plena al trabajar. En los últimos años la gran mayoría de este trabajo se ha enfocado al desarrollo en Flash, una plataforma que conozco desde su versión 5, y que desde entonces ha sido una herramienta invaluable para aprender y crear.
I am a software developer . I ended in this profession thanks to the thrill of creating castles in the air; complex mechanism that in the end are made of patterns and ideas, intangible stuff that exists made of nothing. In videogames I found that a mixture could be made of complex machines just aside artistic expression and exploration of the human psychology. Videogames are capable of expressing complex ideas, of creating motivations, rewards, and of being a great technical achievement. In this area is where I have found the most fulfilling work. In the last years most of this work has been made in the Flash environment, a platform that I know since this 5th version, and that since then has proved an invaluable tool for creating and learning.

También soy un aprendiz. Me encanta intentar distintas cosas y aprender un poco de cada una de ellas. Eso me ha llevado a tener gran variedad de pasatiempos como patinar, criar bonsáis, practicar taichí, yoga, pintar, o hacer joyería con alambre de plata. Muchos de estos pasatiempos no prosperan más de un par de meses, sin embargo algunas si crean fuertes raíces y crecen. De entre ellas: el tango, y su movimiento sensual, exacto, y elegante; la creación de bodypaints, que adornan y muestran un gran respeto por el cuerpo humano completo; y la cría de arboles, que resulta relajante, prometedor, y aporta una pequeña parte en cuidar el mundo en el que vivimos.
I am also an apprentice. I love to try different things and learn whatever I can about these. This has taken me to a great deal of hobbies like skating, training bonsais, practice taichi, yoga, painting, or making silver wire jewelry. Most of these hobbies do not prosper more than a couple of months, but there are some which do attach and create strong roots and grow. Among them: tango, with its sensual, exact, and elegant movement; the creation of bodypaints, that adorn and show great respect for the human body as a whole; and the breeding of trees, which results in a relaxing, promising activity that also helps taking care of the world we live in.

Finalmente soy Miguel López, también conocido como Maic (que es la onomatopeya en español de la palabra "Mike" pronunciada en inglés), también conocido como LopSae (que es un pseudónimo producto de mis apellidos, López Sáenz).
